Poetry

I don’t have a “style” for my work in any marketable sense. I write what comes to mind, and hope that it is a blessing to someone, somewhere.

Occasionally, what comes to mind comes out in meter. Playing with rhymes and poetic forms helps get the words sloshing; I find it an invigorating exercise to shape up flabby spells of thought. Or, put another way, humorous verse is to “writers’ block” as shouting “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” is to speechlessness.
